The Nomad Crew consisting of Mathias, Daniel and myself went up to the Cold Hawaii Surf Camp in Klitmoeller to produce some content for their website and online profiles - we had an epic weekend!
We left the Copehagen area on Thursday with 4-5 hour drive ahead of us. On the way we decided to stop by the highest point in Denmark - a place called Himmelbjerget, directly translated as "The Sky Mountain" or "The Mountain of Heaven". First of all, please note that this is very far from being an actual mountain, in reality it's a hill with it's peak being 147m above sea level. Secondly, it turns out that it's actually not highest point in Denmark. However, in all fairness the highest point apparently varies from time to time depending on molehills or similar ridiculous variables.
As we arrived at the Cold Hawaii Surf Camp we settled in, had a delicious dinner made by the two hosts of the camp, Martin and Peter, and the we headed straight for the beach to catch the sunset. All three of us were caught completely by surprise by the strong wind, the splashing waves and two kitesurfers taking full advantage of the beautiful sunset.
The entire weekend were ment for us to get to know the team behind the Cold Hawaii Surf Camp a little better - we had such a great weekend and we're so excited for future projects.
Besides editing photos and video, we went to try out some surfing on the local waves, both on a longboard and on a SUP(Stand Up Paddle-board) - third time on a surfboard this year! We also went sand dune exploring on a beach nearby - such a great afternoon, and so much fun! Daniel made a little video from the sand dunes which you can check out right here !
At the moment I'm working on a video from the entire weekend so stay tuned!
All the best
